Assessment of water quality based on analysis of water samples has been conducted at a few ponds for a number of years.

With the assistance of volunteers identified through this and other projects, the water quality in additional ponds and rivers can continue to be sampled.
Subsequently, the scientific measurements obtained from the water samples
can be combined with the observational data from this project to provide a
comprehensive picture of water quality in various Plymouth
