Water measurements

Recently, water quality sensing equipment (YSI) owned by the Town of Plymouth has been used in the Six-Ponds area of Plymouth. 

Based on the information obtained in this project and with the assistance of volunteers identified through this project, the water quality in additional ponds and rivers can be measured with this equipment.

Subsequently, these scientific measurements can be combined with observational data from this project to provide a more comprehensive picture of water quality in various Plymouth ponds and rivers.

Note: You too can help with this effort by volunteering to learn how to use the YSI equipment and by taking measurements in Plymouth ponds with which you are concerned.
